About Viking Pest Control
The name Viking is synonymous with Yorkshire since the first Scandinavian raiders took the city of York over 1100 years ago and became the first Norse folk to settle in the region. Since then the word Viking has been a name that would strike fear in the enemy, and that is exactly what we at Viking Pest Control do for your pests. A visit from a Viking pest technician will result in those unwanted residents been ousted from your home, and before our technicians are finished we will do our up most to ensure those pests don’t come back.
Who Are We?
Viking Pest Control is built on a wealth of experience in environmental conservation. We aim to not only make you feel protected and safe from pest species in your own home or place of work, but to also do this in a way which has a positive impact on the environment and UK wildlife. We use the integrated pest management approach to ensure that we provide the best possible service to you and reduce the risk of reoccurring pest problems whilst abiding to the Campaign for Responsible Rodenticides Use (CRRU) code of practice to reduce the risk of poisoning in non-target species such as Barn Owl, Kestrel and Red Kite.
We offer commercial and domestic pest control services in the East Yorkshire and York regions. We offer both one off treatments & contracts to the food and service industry at competitive rates as well as domestic pest control services. Please see our reviews and testimonials to find out what our customers think.
With 15 years in the conservation sector Viking Pest Control have a sound understanding of UK wildlife legislation and do not avoid their legal obligations or underestimate the impact poor pest control can have on the environment.
We hope to become known as Yorkshires most ethical pest control company and develop pioneering techniques, working with and learning from other local experts to deliver a pest control service with benefits to the environment. By keeping up to date with current wildlife legislation, training and developments in the natural world whilst also making links with other local wildlife experts from the Beekeepers Association, Bat Conservation Trust, Bug Life, Butterfly Conservation and the Hawk and Owl Trust we hope our business will be able to feed in to the vision of homes for all wildlife.
We also believe in the vision of homes for all wildlife so much that for every bird proofing job carried out by Viking Pest Control we will make a donation to the bird conservation charity the Hawk and Owl Trust and further donations to the Bat Conservation Trust.
Annually we will also contribute to trees for local communities and take part in the replanting of local hedgerows where possible by giving at least one day of volunteering per month to local conservation and stewardship projects.
